                Why Bluetooth is called "BLUETOOTH"

Most of us will be amazed by the names which are being  given to some of the common technical gadgets as well as services.
One of the very famous common name is  "Bluetooth". It is a small but very useful part of todays social life. Without this, it will be impossible to explore or to be social. So, have you ever thought that 'how this name came into minds of the creators'.

The name Bluetooth is derived from a 10th century king, Harald Bluetooth, who was the King of Denmark and Norway between 940 and 985 AD. He is known for his unification of previously warring tribes from Denmark (including Scania present-day Sweden, where the Bluetooth technology was invented) and Norway. Bluetooth likewise was intended to unify different technologies like computers and mobile phones. The Bluetooth logo merges the Nordic runes analogous to the modern Latin H and B: (Haglaz) and (Berkanan). The logo is similar to an older logo for Beauknit Textiles, a division of Beauknit Corporation. That logo, using the obvious connection of a reversed K and B for Beauknit, is wider and has rounded corners, but is otherwise the same.

BLUETOOH RISE:

In 1994 Ericsson Mobile Communications initiated a study to investigate the feasibility of a low-power low-cost radio interface between mobile phones and their accessories. In Feb 1998, five companies Ericsson, Nokia, IBM, Toshiba and Intel formed a Special Interest Group (SIG). The group contained the necessary business sector members - two market leaders in mobile telephony, two market leaders in laptop computing and a market leader in digital signal processing technology. It is estimated that before year 2002, Bluetooth will be a built-in feature for more than 100 million mobile phones and several million communication devices ranging from handsets and portable PCs to desktop computers and notebooks.

How to make undeletable and unrenamable folders

    

       MAKE UNDELETABLE AND UNREADABLE FOLDER

Hello guyz,
                Today I will give you some tips for making some folders which can neither be deleted nor be renamed. This small trick will make you more and more popular in between your friends.

INTRODUCTION:

So, the basic concept behind this small trick is "KEYWORDS". Keywords are a type of special words which cannot be replaced by any of the means. Some of the keywords which are used by windows are lpt1, lpt2, lpt3, e.t.c.

HOW DO WE KNOW IT ?

As a test, you can try to make a new folder in your windows and at the folder name, try to give any of the above keyword mentioned. 
You will be surprised to see that window will not give any of the above name to that folder.

TRICK

Now, most of us will also want to make folders with such special keywords. This can be done  by the help of D.O.S (Disk Operating System) by writing some commands for it.

The basic steps for doing that are:-

STEP 1:

Click on the "START" bar

STEP 2:

Click on "RUN". After that, type in "cmd" without quotes.

STEP 3:

In the Command Prompt window which opens, type the name of the drive you want to create your folder in the format <drive-name>: and press "ENTER".

for example:
If you want to create the Undeletable and Unrenamable folder in E drive, the type "E:" without the quotes. 

(NOTE:- The folder cannot be created in the root of C: drive as it is your system drive)

STEP 4:

 Type  the command- "md con\" or "md lpt1\" without the quotes.

STEP 5:

Press "ENTER". You can choose any of the keywords given above the name of your folder.


By following these all steps, an Undeletable as well as Unrenamable folder will be created by windows in the drive which you entered.

TRICK TO DELETE THE FOLDER MADE BY ABOVE STEPS:

Although, it is not possible to manually delete the folder. But you can delete the folder by typing "rd con\" or 
"rd lpt1\" in STEP 4 instead of "md con\" or "md lpt1\".


COMPAITABLE WINDOWS:

This trick works on windows XP, windows vista, windows 7, windows 8 and also in windows 8.1.

The transfer speed of data depends on the type of pendrive i.e whether it is usb 2.0 or 3.0. Always go for Usb 3.0 as it provides a transfer rate of 60mb/s. Comparatively, cheap pendrives have very less speed.

Big one:

Always prefer a big pendrive, not as dimensionally but with space. Prefer one 64GB over two 32GB pendrives as it will have very less cost difference i.e. more money saving will be there.

With all these features, always think about durability of pendrive too i.e. to work even at harsh conditions.

lock/Unlock computer with pendrive

Hello friends, have you ever thought about locking and unlocking your computer with an external device. So, today i will share a small trick to control the access of your computer.

"Predator" is a small and handy software to have a control on access of your computer. This shows an "access denied" error to those who tries to open the computer without that pendrive.

So, here are the steps to be followed:-

STEP 1:

First of all, download the predator software from its official website and install it.

STEP 2:

Then plug in your pendrive and a dialogue box will appear asking for password creation. Then click "OK" to continue.

STEP 3:

There are some other settings in that software like having a unique password in "NEW PASSWORD" box to unlock computer if your pendrive is lost.

STEP 4:

Then select the correct Usb drive, click on Create key and then OK.

STEP 5:

Then click on predator icon on the taskbar to turn it ON (green).

NOTE:- None of your data in the pendrive will be lost during the whole process.

How to speed up your pendrive

  

Hello friends, 

Have you ever thought about the issues with your pendrives. With passage of time, the speed of your pen drive slower down. The transfer rate as well as browsing rate also slows down.Today, I will Give you some of the tips to follow to increase pendrive speed.

So, for increasing the speed, we will change the file system to NTFS and Device policy of the pendrive.

STEP 1:

Plugin the pendrive, right click on it and then go to 'FORMAT' and then select NTFS file system.

STEP 2:

Uncheck the "QUICK FORMAT" and then click on 'START'

STEP 3:

After that, again go to properties in your pendrive and click on 'HARDWARE TAB' , select your USB device from list and then click on properties.

STEP 4:

Then on new dialog box, click on 'CHANGE SETTING' and then on "POLICY" tab .

STEP 5:

Finally click on Better performance and then on OK. Then restart your computer..
